Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Glowin Beauty Lounge L.L.C. ("Glowin", "we"), a company registered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (trade licence CN-0000000), handles your personal data. It is written to comply with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

What we collect

• Appointment requests: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email if you give it, the service you would like, your preferred date and time, and any notes you add.
• Conversation history when you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, email, or Instagram.
• Service records: what was done at each visit, preferences, and any sensitivities or patch-test results you share so we can treat you safely.

Our website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and uses no advertising or tracking scripts. Browsing it leaves no personal trace with us.

How we use it

• To arrange, confirm, deliver, and follow up on your appointments.
• To keep your service history so each visit builds on the last.
• To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules.

We contact you about your own bookings. We send marketing only if you have said yes, and you can withdraw that consent at any time with a single message.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers who help us run the salon, under contracts that protect it: our salon management and booking platform (Phorest Salon Software, once connected), payment processing at the salon, and professional advisers where the law requires. Some providers store data outside the UAE; where they do, we rely on the safeguards the PDPL permits.

How long we keep it

Appointment and service records are kept while you remain a guest and for up to [5 years] afterwards, or longer where UAE tax and commercial law requires. Records we no longer need are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw any consent you have given. Write to hello@glowin.ae and we will respond within a reasonable period. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office if you believe we have mishandled your data.

Security

Access to your data is limited to the team members who need it to serve you. Our systems use encrypted connections, and paper records, where they exist, stay inside the salon.
